Dangerous Identity Expeditions

Meet the TEAM

Joe Baker, founder of Dangerous Identity Expeditions, has been climbing since 6th grade and took his first trip into the Cirque of the Towers when he was in 9th grade with his brother.  Since then he has climbed all over the United States.  You name it, he’s been there.  Joe has guided multiple climbing trips and has climbed most of the walls in the Cirque.

Joe is also the founder of Live Offensively for God Ministries and likes to challenge students to take a stand for their faith by being missionaries in their schools. He has spent his last three summers criss-crossing the entire country's Christian music festivals, touring with eight teenagers who he teaches to climb 1,000 foot walls and equips them to change the world.  His controversial t-shirt line has gained quite a bit of attention and has encouraged and emboldened thousands of young modern day activists and evangelists to take a stand for their faith.  Click to Read More

Ann Habicht is currently the only female leader with DI, and for good reasons!  She is a senior at Black Hills State University in the heart of the Black Hills in South Dakota, double majoring in biology and chemistry.  Through these two degrees, Ann hopes to help others gain an appreciation for God’s creation and teach others about the scientific complexity of creation in the outdoors.

Ann has gained valuable experience teaching and guiding others in the backcountry.  She has spent two summers in Yosemite National Park, CA working and climbing.  Among her highest achievements in Yosemite are climbing Half Dome, Lost Arrow Spire, and portions of Washington’s Column and the famous El Capitan.  Ann has also climbed around the world in such places as Colorado, Utah, New York, South Dakota, Wyoming, California, Washington, West Virginia, and Mexico.  She has extensive experience climbing and backpacking in the Wind River Range of Wyoming, as she has been on four climbing trips to the Cirque of the Towers in the last three years.  Click to Read More

Hi, my name is Joshua James Harper. I am a spirit filled, born again believer in Jesus Christ. Not only is Christ my savior, but I have also made him Lord of my life. I am 27 years old and happily married to Jessica Anne, who is also 27. We have two children, Uriah Courage, 2 years old, and Ashlyn Adore, 10 months old. I have a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and a masters degree in Science Education from Penn State. I currently live in central Pennsylvania where I teach high school physics and chemistry.

My spiritual journey began at a young age. I grew up in a Christian family, attended a Christian school, Salem Christian, and went to a Christian summer camp, Camp Men-O-Lan. When I went off to college, my spiritual walk reached a new level. I got involved with Keystone Church, full of dynamic Christians, who taught me things of the Holy Spirit and of the Kingdom of God. I have committed myself to this body of believers and continue to grow in the Lord at this church.  Click to Read More
